On our intercontinental fleet we offer Economy or Business class cabin options, on our Airbus A380 aircraft there is also a Premium Economy Cabin. We have stripped back the Economy Class product to offer only the bare essentials - this way you only pay for the things that matter to you!  This is how we can offer great value for money airfares to amazing destinations. During your flight, Drinks & Snacks can be purchased in Economy Class - & on flights over 6 hours there is even a Complementary hot meal!

new aircraft

We operate one of the youngest fleets of long-haul aircraft in Europe, the average age of our entire fleet is just 7 years old.

To remain efficient and offer our passengers the best product available, we are introducing a total of 40 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft - delivery of the new aircraft commenced in March 2015 and will conclude in  July 2017. These aircraft will enable us to launch new services & replace our Airbus A330 aircraft as they return at the end of lease agreements.

We are also investing in our narrow body fleet,  a fleet of new Airbus A321-S Enhanced aircraft joined us in 2015. These aircraft replaced Boeing 757 operations at our London hub & allowed us to add new routes to destinations in the Middle East & Africa.

As a result, our Boeing 757 fleet received a cabin refurbishment could be deployed on new routes from our other bases. The type will be retired in 2018, replaced by the Boeing 737 MAX.

Starting in 2017 GBAIR will begin to simplify it's narrow body fleet - replacing all Airbus A319/321 family aircraft with Boeing 737 NG and MAX aircraft that will operate short/mid haul and North Atlantic routes. The Airbus A319/321 aircraft will be fully phased out by 2018. As part of it's simplification program - GBAIR will also transfer it's Embraer jet fleet to ONE regional airlines.

GBAIR Europe is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Great Britain Air Service Company Limited -  registered and based in Dublin - Ireland. Operating under it's own AOC the unit currently has two Boeing 787 Dreamliner's registered and these are used on services from Athens to the US. The aircraft are also used on the GBAIR UK network as and when required.

Later in 2017, GBAIR Europe will also begin to operate the GBAIR A318 Elite Jet on it's AOC and the aircraft will be added to the Irish Civil Aircraft register.
