Boeing 757-200 ER
In operation since the 1980's, the Boeing 757 is one of the most successful single aisle jets ever to be made. Combining a medium capacity aircraft with powerful engines & large fuel capacity enables the Boeing 757 to travel long distance Trans Atlantic routes from the UK & Europe with ease - a network that it is widely used on today.
The Boeing 757 is a perfect alternative to wide body aircraft that offer too much capacity for niche routes, it can also operate from more challenging airports with shorter runways and yet still comfortably operate long distance flights with a full passenger cabin.
Our Boeing 757 aircraft are now nearing retirement age and will be replaced completely by a combination of Boeing 737-700 and New Boeing 737 MAX aircraft by the end of March 2018. These newer aircraft are more efficient and will give us better fleet flexability.
In 2015, our fleet of Boeing 757 aircraft received a cabin overhaul. A brand new business class with lie flat beds, personal HD screens & power at all seats, LED mood lighting in the cabin & refurbished washrooms. Leg room was also increased in all classes with the removal of several rows of seats.
